Shakes or Wobbles problem
1992 Buick Lesabre Engine Size unknown Front Wheel Drive Automatic 78000 miles

Last week I hit a rather large bump when pulling into a parking lot, and my car has not been handling the same at all since then. It almost feels like the car is not moving perfectly straight or something, and it wobbles slightly when moving at slow speeds. Also, the transmission seems to be having trouble bringing the car to highway speed, and it did not before last week's incident. Everything else is working fine, but something just doesn't feel right at all.

Take it to a shop and have them check it over for any bent or broken parts. You could have a bent strut, control arm, cv axle, or wheel.

Actually, I discovered what was making it handle so rough. Apparently the transmission mount was busted, so the engine was moving around when I hit bumps in the road. When I hit the really large bump it probably almost completely dislodged it. The only thing holding the mount in place was the safety screw. Well, thank you for responding anyways. I really do appreciate it.
