1998 Buick Century Car "shudders" with light brak

Brakes on this car were serviced (all four wheels) within the last 10k of driving. Suddenly, car "shudders" at times, but only on partial brake application. Car does not swerve. There is a "rubbing" sound. On follow up brake pedal effort, braking normalizes. This may not repeat each time, but seems to be more frequent now.

Hi I know your post said brakes were serviced recently. However this still sounds like a rotor prob even new rotors can be out of round. I would have them machined. And also have the inner and outer tie rods checked. Tire balanceing. Good luck billymac
