1993 Buick Century whats wrong and can it be fixed

Transmission problem
1993 Buick Century Automatic

was driving my car to work one day and as I was when I would step on the gas and it would shake like my old van did when the vaccum line was out, it felt like it was going to stall. When I got to a stop sign I stop and when I was ready to go I took my foot off the brake and stepped on the gas and my car just rolled inot the middle of the street like it slipped out of drive and into nuetral. I put it in park then back into drive. Nothing. Put it in reverse and it would go just fine tried 1st nothins, 2nd nothing all it would do is go in reverse. Whats happened and can it be fix without replacing the whole transmission

I also have a 93 century it is an automatic and sometimes it wont go into drive I think that that modle has tran problems but mine fixed itself kinda I still have some trouble but it seems to be ok also do u know where the knock sensor is located
