Car dies after driving about 10 miles, let sit for ten min. And it starts back up, then drive for about 2 miles and dies again. Engine runs ruff before dies, and backfires.

Can your car start right back up after it stalls? Have you tried yet, or are you always letting it sit for a few minutes first? Is your check engine light on? Does it always back fire after it stalls?
It could be a Mass Air Flow Sensor. It might not be though since you say your car tends to backfire.
