Broken ABS

Went to a mechanic with a right wheel noise by turns, he said the wheel bearing and lower control arm need to be changed. After he did that noise was in both wheels constantly, steering is out of control, left wheel ripping apart. Next mechanic said they broke the ABS sensor in the first service we went to.
What damages the broken ABS caused in my car?

The ABS sensor is a wheel speed sensor, apart form the damaged sensor, there is no other problem that this can do. Replace the sensor and that should fix that side of the problem.
