It is leaking where the rubber hose meets the caliper. Do I need to replace the brake line or the caliper?

I have a couple of possibilities that could happen.

If it is right there where the hose meets the caliper.

The hose (rubber) could be leaking?

Maybe the threads on the hose are stripped?

My best hypothesis

The "copper" washer/ seal is messed up or even lost/ not installed! (replacing it would be cheap)

OR

Even cheaper!

My #1 pick!

The hose is not tight enough to sort of "squish" the copper seal into sealing.

I'm sending you a link/ guide from "Repair Guides" found at the top right of our pages.

Do let us know what you find, this might aid someone else searching the forums in the future.
