Hi, my brake booster was leaking so I replaced it. Since then, my brakes are hard to push it, my car is hard to stop and I have four codes p0171, p0174, p2195, and p2197. I checked all the hoses and it seems all intact.
1) When replacing brake booster do I need to bleed it out? That's why I have those codes and issues with my brakes?
2) Also, there is a shaking noise.
3) Does it have anything to do with the master cylinder now?
4) Are there any hoses under the engine cover or anything within the engine to cause the brake issues now?
Thank you

Good morning,

You need to check the vacuum line from the booster to the motor. It sounds like it is not connected somewhere causing the codes and the pedal issue.

Remove the hose at the booster and you should have plenty of vacuum.

The codes you have are for a lean exhaust so we need find the vacuum leak which I suspect is where I mentioned above.

Here are a couple guides that will help with this.

Please run through this and let us know what you find.
