I recently replaced my front disc’s, and the rotor and bearings are fine.I just replaced the rear brake shoes, and the adjuster seems fine. The brake is intermittent. I can pump it up, it work sponge like for a pump or two then it will sink to the floor. Not even the handbrake will work.I did the test where you start the car than push the brake, and turn the engine off. It does not sink at all.
Cheers, Charles.

Welcome to 2CarPros.

Any time the pedal goes to the floor, either there is a leak, air in the system, or the master cylinder is bad. If nothing was opened up, there shouldn't be air in it. When you replaced the rear brakes, did you properly adjust them? If they are not adjusted properly, it will give you a spongy pedal, but that wouldn't cause the brake pedal to go to the floor.

Take a look through this link:

Let me know if this helps.
