Brake failed and later start to work.
I have just changed my tire to a bigger size. Can it be this?

Hi,

It depends on what you mean by a brake failure. What happened when you pressed the pedal? Did it go to the floor or did the vehicle just feel like the vehicle was not slowing down like it used to?

Also, what was the situation when they didn't operate? Where you coming down a mountain or steep long grade?

Let me know and we can go from there. Thanks

I was coming from a hill, wanted to enter a corner. I pressed the brake, it was just going down without the car slowing down. I then stopped for like 30 minutes. Then the brake started working again.

Okay. This seems like it was one of two things. First, it could have been due to the larger tires and the added weight coming down the hill, the brakes just were not as responsive. Second it could have been glazed brake rotors and pads. When brakes overheat due to excessive braking down a large hill (riding the brakes) they glaze over and they don't have as good of stopping force.

Either way, due to the larger tires you need to be mindful of the added weight.

Hopefully I answered your question. Please let me know if you need more info. Thanks
