I am experiencing excessive coolant loss with excessive overheating and cannot find any leaks anywhere. I took it to a bmw specialist and he stuck a new thermostat inside as he said that was the problem; it was okay for some time howver the problem has started up again and still persists. White smoke is also coming out of the coolant tank. I thought it might of been a blown head gasket but the oil is the right colour and it the car did not fail the pressure test.
Thanks
