1996 BMW 328 i, 109,000 miles. the engine idles rough and shakes when you start it up and when you are at a stop. I have taken it to be fixed several times and they said they can't find anything wrong. I took it back again and they noticed the rough idle and shake and said they put something in the gas tank , a cleaner and that should do it. It still has the same problem. It was in an accident in the Arizona desert, to the drivers front,by the tire. I thought it might be the motor mounts. They said they were fine. Is it an fuel filter or air intake problem? Full of dust and dirt?
