I just recently had my convertible top replaced. The power motor for the top worked when it was taken into the shop. After the new top was put on the mechanic/owner was unable to time the 2 different motors correctly to put the flap up, lower the top, then close the flap over the folded up top. He asked a few questions of the convetible top dealer and was told that maybe it needed a new switch. That might help the 2 different motors work more in synch, maybe one/both were not getting enough power. Otherwise, I need 2 new motors which is expensive - espically when they worked fine when I took it in.
Do you think that would work or is there something else that we might try?
