2000 BMW 320 dash lights on

My brake, ASC & handbrake light have come on and wont go off, also the speedo is only working intermitantly as is the fuel economy dial. Any help appreciated

Best thing to do is have the dealer scan the codes with the GT1 computer, because the symptom your describing could one of three things from not so expensive to very expensive!

The first thing could be a wheel speed sensor, the steering level angle sensor or the ASC module. As for the fuel economy dial and the speedo dial intermittently working it could be related to the parts above. But the best bet is to have the computer scanned for faults.

An excellent point, and beware of faults that are telling you the front wheel speed sensors are faulty. Often a faulty ASC/DSC control module is the root cause. The road speed signal is generated from the ASC/DSC module and is definitely related to your ASC/DSC problem.
