Engine Performance problem
1995 BMW 318 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

when i pull off in 1st and 2nd it has not much power and feels like it wants to back fire this has only happened since i took it to a car wash and it does not happen all the time

The car wants YOU to wash her, not a machine! Seriously though, there could be a related water problem here. The compartment for the power train electronics is prone to flooding under certain circumstances and can generate real headaches. Check the drain port for the E-box located directly above the glove box and accessible through the engine compartment. Look for signs of water intrusion.
