One day, the A/C stopped working completely no matter what setting I put it on. I checked all the fuses and relays and those were okay. Replaced the blower motor, blower motor resistor and the climate control knobs and it still didn’t work after that. My dad even got the Nissan Rogue Diagnostic sheet for the HVAC system and ran through the steps and still couldn’t find the problem.

Hi,

Is it the A/C that doesn't work or the blower motor? I realize the fuses were checked and the relay. However, did you confirm there is power to the fuses and relay? Is the relay getting a ground signal to actuate?

I attached two pics below. It shows the wiring related so you have a reference.

Let me know if the fuses are good and have power as well as the relay. If you haven't, switch the relay with a different one having the same part number to see if it changes. If there isn't a relay to use, here is a link that explains how to test one:

Also, here is a link related to checking power to fuses:

Make sure the fusible link "D" in pic 1 hasn't failed as well.

Let me know. Also, confirm exactly what isn't working, the A/C or the blower motor.

Take care,

Joe

Yes, we checked if the fuses and relays were getting power and they were.

Hi,

On the AC amplifier, located the red wire from the blower motor. Confirm there is power to that wire. That is what completes the circuit and determines the fan speed. I assume that is what has failed. If it is something different, let me know.
