Hi,

I have the vehicle listed above TL DCi.

It needs its blower motor replaced (quoted $2200AUD). Including 5-8 hours labor.

We are hoping to be able to buy the required part and give it a go ourselves.

I have found a few videos online, but they tend to be for the 2006-2007 models. There was a change in 2008 and I am hoping someone has instructions and/or advice or links they are able to send me.

Thanks in advance. Cheers, Imogen

Hello,

On RHD models you will need to remove the glove box to gain access to the blower motor.
No other parts of the dashboard will have to be removed.
Please see images below

Please let us know how you get along.

Thank you for your response, Boris.

The mechanic thought the same initially but then came back saying that mine was one of the few that had to have the dash taken off?

Are you confident that glovebox removal is all that is required for my particular model?

Thanks again for your time Boris and I hope to hear from you. Cheers, Imogen

Hello,

Your Nissan X-Trail is a T31 model.
According to the Nissan factory information this is all you need to remove.
