Okay, there's a couple of things I have going on. First is when I come to a stop either I use my left or right blinker my gas gauge jumps around and when I push the gas to go my truck bucks and sputters. As soon as I take blinkers off it runs fine. Second when I'm hearing my sound system I put it up to the maximum volume and my truck wants to turn off. My lights get dim only when the bass hits. Thanks

Hello, it sounds like a fault in the body control module. It will need to be diagnosed by a trained technician. These systems are tricky and a bad body control module can mask other problems. As for the dimming of the lights with the audio system, the sub-woofer is drawing too much current for the vehicle. Is there an aftermarket audio system in there?

Thanks for putting me in the right direction as for my sound system. I have Alpine deck Kenwood 1600 watt maximum power amp. Also have a kole Audio capacitor with two 10-inch KICKER comps. Do you think it has to do with a bad alternator?

It's either a bad alternator or you need to install a higher amperage alternator that can supply the current needed to power a high end audio system. They do make larger current alternators for just this reason. Go to the auto parts store and explain you situation and I'm sure they can help find the right alternator to fit you vehicle. Those sub-woofer can pull more power than what the stock one can handle. Hope this helps.
