I am blind in my left eye, and unless I turn to see it, I can't see the Blind-Spot warning light on the outside left side rear view mirror. I want to add a set of additional blind spot warning lights (to duplicate both the right and left warning lights) on the dash above the speedometer and tachometer. I need for find a place in the vehicles wiring where I can tap into the correct wires to drive the additional lights I want to add. I am an electrical engineer, so if I need to make an interface circuit to prevent drawing too much current from the wire, I can do that. I just needs to be able to get to the right wires to sense the ON-OFF of the voltage that drives the Blind Spot Warning Lights. Any help will be appreciated.

Unfortunately your vehicle is too new for the manufacturer to release any type of wiring diagram to the safety systems like the blind spot monitor. You may want to call Subaru to see if they can accommodate your situation, but of course if they can, there would be a charge for that. Just like a person who is say for example obese, the manufacturer would install a seat belt extender and maybe give a tutorial on the seat belt usage.
