My vehicle has developed a strange problem. If I give it more gas it seems to resolve the problem. Once it hesitates a few times it doesn't do it again. If I use the top portion of the gas pedal, it happens less. It happens more when it's humid or rainy. Some days it does not do it at all. Any idea what it could be? Any help is appreciated. I'm 9 months pregnant and it's my primary vehicle!

Congratulations on the pregnancy. It sounds like the engine is misfiring which can happen when the engine needs to be tuned up, can I ask if the check engine light is on? If so, you can see by the codes which cylinder is having the problem and just fix that one if money is tight. here are two guides to help us see what's going on and fix the problem:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/checking-a-service-engine-soon-or-check-engine-light-on-or-flashing

and

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-tune-up-a-car-engine

and this guide I would do with the tune up:

If you follow these guides, it should fix the problem. Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem so we can see what's going on.

The check engine light is on. It's been on due to a bad O2 sensor which we were told we didn't absolutely have to get replaced. I'll definitely get the codes read. Thank you!
