I had to replace the rear differential bolt on top because somehow it came out and both of my CV axles broke! I know how this happened because you have to drop the cradle to get that bolt out or cut it. I can't tell you cause I haven't the slightest, that's my luck. Anyway, the bolt I used is about 2 inches too long. So, I put a big washer over the hole closest to the body ( I drilled a hole through the spare tire well) then on the other side of the frame between going into the differential I put a smaller washer that's the same size as the bushing (that isn't out all the way) then it screws into the differential housing. Even though the threads weren't striped out it tightened down great. How safe is this and how will it affect, or will it work? I have no pictures. Didn't want to say or tell anyone until it has worked for a while if it does.
