Good morning,
The procedure is below.
Once you have the spacer out, you should be able to sneak the belt through the opening.
Can you post a picture of what you see?

REMOVAL
1. Raise the vehicle.
2. Remove the right-hand splash shield.
3. Remove the connector from the crank sensor. Refer to Engine Mount in order to remove the following components:
a. The engine mounting bracket lower nut.
B. The engine mounting bracket lower stud.
C. The engine mounting bracket lower spacer.
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Remove the belt(s).
