Hello, the battery light on the combination meter illuminate while the engine is running. I thought the battery is bad because it was less than 12 volts, I replaced it but the symptoms persist. I removed the alternator, I took to an expert after some test he told me that the alternator is in good condition. I checked the tension of the belt if there is slippage, the tension is okay. Please could you help me with the circuit diagram, that I may check the wires?

Hi,

How was the alternator tested? If it is still out, take it to a parts store and have them bench test it. Also, check the fuses related to the alternator.

I have attached the entire wiring schematic for the charging system. Take a look through it and let me know what you find or if you have other questions. I had to break the pic into two pics so they are easier to read. I did overlap them so you could follow them.

Let me know if you have other questions or need help.

Take care and God Bless you,

Joe

The problem was open circuit on the one of the wires (the white wire on the circuit diagram).
