About a year back the battery light on my dash flickered on and would stay on. Typically this means it's not charging (correct?). In this case it was overcharging the battery and almost blew the battery.
We replaced the alternator, and battery. Everything was good for about a week or two. Then the light started flickering on again. It only comes on when I am coming to a stop after doing approx 45mph+, and the rpm lowers to approx 1000-1500. In that range it'll come on, sometimes flickering off and sometimes staying on. To get it to go off I rev the engine once or twice and it goes off.
Mechanics at the honda dealership said it was loose battery post connections. So they tightened them.
Went to orielly and they hooked it up to the little diagnostic tool and it said the battery, alternator and starter are good. So I am at a loss.
Could it be an issue with the wiring itself?
