Battery and engine lights turned on?

Our car wouldn't start. The battery light and engine light were on. We got a brand-new battery. And it Still wouldn't start. We replaced the fuel pump, the serpentine belt, got an oil change and the car has been running. Our headlights went out. So, we got them fixed. The car was running and working perfectly. The car had been sitting most of the day yesterday and I went to start it and it wouldn't start. The battery light and engine lights are on again. It's doing the exact same thing it was doing before all the repairs. It won't start again. We have spent so much money getting this car fixed on it only for it to not be working again. Before we spend any more money, I need to know, what do you think the problem is?

These cars had big problems with the TIPM (totally integrated power module). To be sure we can perform a CAN scan which is easy to do, you can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) from Amazon from about $32.00.
