Will my battery drain if I have removed the window motor and regulator and have not replaced it yet? Within 2 days off removing the window motor and regulator I started getting a weak battery then all the sudden it will not hold a charge. Please explain.

I doubt removing the regulator would do anything. It is likely you have a parasitic draw somewhere causing the battery to drain. If anything, you can get the regulator replaced and see if that fixes it. There are plenty of aftermarket regulators that are not expensive.

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.com.

I agree with Wally. However, it could be coincidental that the battery just now decided to go bad, or as he mentioned, there is a parasitic draw. Here is a link that will help you determine if there is a draw and narrow down where it is coming from:

Additionally, here is a link which describes how to load test a battery to determine if it is good or bad:

Let us know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe
