I have an issue no one has been able to find. If my truck sits for several days, the battery will be drained. I mean won't even light up anything or click or nothing. We've replaced the battery twice and the alternator twice. Still sits and it's drained.
Now, I am wondering, since when you roll the window up on the left, passenger rear it will turn off cruise, and sometimes even cause the battery warning light to come on. If this might be the issue and a ground. If so, where would this ground, be? Battery ground to chassis is fine. And I know there are a lot of ground connections from frame to body and such but finding which one it might be without any clue would cost many hours labor, as it already has with all that's been done mentioned above.
Do you have any ideas as to what location a ground for the rear left window might be?
Help!

Good morning,

A bad ground will not cause this issue at all. There is a component that is drawing current when the truck is off.

I attached a guide for you to follow.

What you need to do is remove the negative battery cable. Take a voltmeter and attach the red lead to the cable and the black lead to the battery. Then turn the meter to DC amps. You should read no more than 50-75 milliamps.

If you have more, then remove the fuses one by one until the draw drops to these specs. Then we need to find the components on that circuit.

Thanks man. I guess no one else thought to do this. I did it and found the issue, parasitic draw from the rear cigarette lighter where I put a wireless charger in and it, apparently is staying on. So, I installed an on and off switch inside the console where it comes thru. Might later look at finding that tap and putting it on the accessory block so it only works with the ignition on. I know both lighter plugs and the 2 accessory 12 volt plugs all work at all times. Might add them all if possible, without issues. I'll have to study on it and the wiring.
Still, that rear window when raised from the front control will throw a battery warning light so I still think there is a ground issue with that one since it's the only one that does it. Might have to check out the window motor unit and replace it. 2005 so probably could stand replacing like the rear side was done. Not too expensive or hard to do. Just patience required.
Thanks again. Going to rub it in to my mechanic's face that I found the issue. Haha.
