Average car maintenance

Hi,

I am thinking about getting my first car and I am currently thinking of getting the the car listed above, but I heard that the car would not be the best regarding average maintenance (breakdown repairs). I also compared the pricing with other 2007 cars and it is considerably cheaper.

My question is does the car (French make cars in general) have a known history of high maintenance costs?
