While driving going up a hill transmission did a little slip, but still went uphill and kept driving "normal". After a minute the slip became permanent to the point that all gears were slipping with the exception of first gear. Managed to reach home in first gear. Checked transmission oil which was red and level.

Hey LASEREDDY,

I do not currently have information regarding that specific model.

To start just making sure the transmission fluid level is good is key to proper transmission operation.

Ensure you are checking the level on flat ground.
Also make sure if the dipstick has a hot and cold level that you can use the cold level if the vehicle has been left and fully cold but the level should always be checked to the hot marks with the engine running and at operating temperature.

Does the fluid look clean on the dipstick?
No leaks from the transmission?
Has it had a transmission service recently/ has the transmission oil and filter been replaced?

Apart from checking the fluid level and changing the fluid/filter diagnosing a slipping transmission can be difficult at home.

Let me know about level and recent service and I will try and find some information for that model.

Regards, Joe
