Is it possible to upgrade or modify my car infotainment system to a touchscreen one?

Being a 2019 the stereo does more than just make noise. The factory parts are integrated into the vehicle far more than they ever were. You might be able to upgrade the system to a factory unit but as with the remote start you asked about, they have to be installed correctly. For instance some vehicles use the "radio" as part of the security system, or to control other options like heat or more. Personally, I would talk to the dealer first. They can give you options using factory parts to keep the reliability and warranty.

Thank you so much. Actually, I already asked my dealer and their service center and they said there is nothing much they can do on an LX trim.
I should have taken the EX or EX-L if my money was enough.
Thank you so much Steve. May you have a great day ahead.

Strange, unless the dealer just doesn't want to bother with it. Honda may have even changed the wiring harness in the "lower" trim levels. The data sources we have sort of omits that information on the newer vehicles until there have been failures and they add it.

Yeah! I was also surprised that they just said it because they don’t want to mess around with the newer vehicles.
Before I traded my 2014 Honda CRV with them they were willing to do it but with the newer models they don’t. I was just surprised.

Not shocking these days, the way they have integrated all of the systems on newer vehicles can make it very interesting when even something that seems easy is done. For instance, removing the OEM stereo on my wifes car will mean you lose control of the dual zone heat and AC system because they are in the touch screen that is part of the stereo. Some are far worse, to the point they have a very large touch panel that controls everything. If it fails, you lose all of the controls.

Well, if you run into other automotive questions don't be afraid to ask. We will be here. Thanks for using 2CarPros.
