2000 Audi A6 check engine light is on

Took to my mechanic and he had 2 codes come up
that are under the catagory/ manufacturer controlled auxiliary emission controls
code no. 1411
code no.1423
what do these codes mean and what needs to be fixed

I'm having a problem finding these codes in my listing's are they p1411/p1423? In the meantime ask your mechanic to delete the codes (after making note of them) to turn off the check engine light. Then drive the car as you normally would for a few days? It is possible these codes came up because of a glitch in the ECU and there is no fault with the vehicle? If they do not re-occur then problem solved
