1994 Audi 90 timing blet

my timing belt moved 2 inches so i took it out put in a new one and set the right time on it, and after i did all that i tired running the car to see if it ran and it didnt because it doesn't spark.
why would it not spark?
i still havent connected the fans or anything does that have anything to do with it not running?

No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs,distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module camshaft and crankshaft positioning sensors- Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it
