I had my battery replaced by a mechanic on my Audi 100 CS. The car started acting really wierd and the doors would open incorrectly and the sunroof would go up and down by itself. When I opened the back seat I saw the bottom of the seat had burned mark. Any thoughts?

Hi Audi10093,

Thank you for the donation.

The burn marks on the bottom of the seat could mean the battery is shorting against it and it can either be due to improper covering of the terminals or the battery installed is incorrect, terminals reversed polarity.

The shorting is causing the sytems to go haywire.

This is a safety hazard and should be attended to asap.
