Had a problem with A/C not cooling. It seemed cooler than outside but not cold while driving around town (thirty five mph). Took a trip and A/C worked great. Came home and now A/C not working. Compressor clutch seems to be cycling normally. When I put a gauge on it it reads in the 145 psi range. I am not seeing any condensation and it appears to be blowing outside temperature.

Where did you put the gauge and get that pressure? 145 psi is very high for the low side and very low for a high side pressure.

You need to verify the low and high side pressures, an overcharged system is worse than an undercharged one as it will cause damage and will not cool because there is not room for the liquid to become vapor and absorb heat.

Do the pressure tests and reply back. Then we can go from there.
