Tried all of the recommendations to get my car out of anti theft to no avail.
Would the fact that I took out stock radio out have anything to do with it? And is there anymore advice on what to do next?

What is the problem you are having? Theft light on, is it flashing or solid? Stock radio isn't connected to the anti-theft in that year. Did the system stop working immediately after you removed the radio? If yes then it's possible that some of the wiring was connected to the wrong wiring. If it didn't happen at the same time it's doubtful that it had anything to do with it.
Here are the things that can cause PATS to activate.

An incorrectly encoded ignition key.
A damaged encoded ignition key.
An unprogrammed key.
A non-encoded key (key has no electronics).
Damaged wiring.
Damaged PATS transceiver.
Damaged PCM.
A module communications network concern.

Do you have more than one key? Does it have to outside keypads? Do those work?
What have you tried already?
