All of a sudden, I put my key in the car and the antitheft light is blinking. I cannot turn the key, move the steering wheel, or anything. is there something I can do other than taking it to a dealer?

Just to be clear the key will not turn at all, and the theft light is flashing.

If this is the case, then is the light flashing slowly or fast? Can you get a quick video of the light and what the ignition switch is doing when you turn it?

I just want to make sure we are on the same page because if I get this wrong, I will take you in a totally wrong direction.

What I suspect is happening is the ignition switch is just stuck and the theft light is flashing because the key has not been turned to the on position to disable the system.

If that is the case, there is a guide that will help with this:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/ignition-switch-wont-turn-stuck

Let's run through this to see if we can free the switch and then once it is turned to the on position the theft light should go off.

Let me know if you can get a video and that will help.

Thanks
