I need to purchase another car to replace my 1998 olds LS 88. This olds has 180k mi and is showing major repair needs.I need a car this size that will be driven aprox. 50 mi ( hiway ) per day. I am looking for a pre owned car that will driven for 200k mi and remain as trouble free as possible. I do have regular service on my cars and I am not locked into any brand. Size and dependability are the first concerns.
Thank you.

Well dogcat that is a question that brings up a lot of issues and arguements between pople both emotionally and politically.

After 40 + yeasr as a garage owner I can give you a quick good answer. The Ford Crown Victoria is an excellent choice. I have worked on those models in police cars that have over 1,000,000 miles and are still going strong. The 2002-04 are particually good. The key is good maintenance at the requied time. I hope I have helped you with my very biased answer.

Personally I own a 99 Honda accord and a new Toyota Tacoma
