Engine wont turn over once petrol tank more than half full

I have a peugot 206 xs 1.6 62000 miles, year 2000. On 2 occasions after I have put petrol in car half full tank. The engine will turn over sometimes and sometimes not unless bump started. Do you have any ideas what could be wrong with it?

Hi there,

I feel that the no start and the 1/2 full fuel tank is coincidental. I can't see how the two could be related. I would have the starter checked to start with and go from there.
