96 Town and Country heater

My 96 T&C has a problem with the heater. If I idle the car the heater only blows out cold air, but if I start moving it blows out warm air. It also won't blow any air unless I turn on the recirculated air button

Check the coolant level for starters. Make sure the reservior is where it should be as well.

Step 1 - A heater cannot operate unless the engine is full of coolant/antifreeze. If coolant level is low check the system for leaks.
