Hi! No. The check engine light does not come on. It has spark, I have checked that. My era was check spark, compression, and fuel and if it didn't start, then take a piece of thousand grit sandpaper to the points, set them and it will. I know that it generally is the same. But it is a lot different too! One thing I do notice is that there is a buiildup of fuel in the pressure release on the intake manifold. Whether this is normal or not I don't know, but I wondered about the fuel filter. The thing I don't understand is that once it starts it runs great. Sometimes for 6 months. Sometimes for 2 days. It definitely does this, almost exscusivly, in the summer. What do you think?
