95 E-350 Misfire

I have a van with 140,000 miles with a 460, it runs fine when its cold, but after it gets up to temp it begins to miss severely on acceleration or when pulling. It runs good until about the time that the thermostat opens then it begins to miss and barely has any power. The engine light does not come on and we hooked up a part store scan tool and no codes were shown. Also checked fuel pressure and changed filter, plugs and wires. Any Ideas?

With the mileage the vehicle has I can safely say you have a timing chain Problem. Sounds like it jumped a tooth or 2, Try loosening the distributor and advance the timing and see if it runs a little better if so Get the timing chain changed. Good luck.
