The other day I was driving my car and all of a sudden the engine starts getting very very loud. The only way I can describe it is like a motorcycle gang riding down the street. That's the type of noise my engine is doing. Any ideas what could have caused that?

Sounds like you have a bad exhaust leak. Check the exhaust system for any really bad rusted sections or big holes. Maybe with the car running try to locate where the sound is coming from.
