I am trying to figure out what is wrong with my dad's van. The van didn't want to start one morning so we thought it was probably the battery since it was still stock battery. (5yrs old). We repaced it and checked the alternator, it was recharging fine.It turned on fine but then later that day it wouldn't turn on again. We recharged the battery that night. It turns on but then it wont start in the evening. PLS i need help.

OK now you need to see if it's spak related or fuel related. Pull a plg wire off and place it near a groung. Any exhaust or other metal part will do. Crank the engine. Do you get a spark? On the fuel rail you will see what looks like a tire valve. Press it...do you get fuel? Let us know!
