So I changed out my front brakes today which I dont think it should have anything to do with it. But here is my problem, when I put in my key, turn the car on, I push in on my brakes, it clicks under the shift knob, when I release the brakes it clicks again. Before I changed the brakes it never did that. My car still runs fine, the brakes are good, everything works, just wonder why its clickin. It doesnt click when the car is off, or when it is in drive, just when its in park. Anyone have anything on this?

Thats normal safety feature. The clicks is when u start ur car if u don't step on the brake then u can't move ur shifter to drive position in case some1 accidental move the shifter to drive while the engine is running. It might runover some 1. Try not to step on the brake while engine running and wheel blocks and see it u can move it to drive postion. Bet u can't. Let me know man
