1999 Benz ML430

I have 1999 Benz ML430, 32,000 miles that I took in for servicing to the dealer for a part that was recalled. I got a call later that maorning and they said that my brakes and rotors need to be changed ($1700) I just had my front brakes done in 2003. I am confused does that sound right?[/b]

well depending on how hard you drive your brakes could need serviceing however 1700 sounds really steep i manage an all european car shop and none of the newer mercedes ever ended up being that much also what was done in 03
