The head gasket has gone on my rover 216

i have heard you can buy some kind of sealent that may be able to repair this is this correct

Hi there,

Do not waste your money on fixes in a can, the only way you will resole your problem is to do the job properly, yes it will cost far more than some miracle cure in a can, but believe me you will be removing the head sooner rather than later and you may even have a larger repair bill if you leave it, do it once and and do it properly.
