1986 300ZX turbo Idle/Hesitation Problem

The engine idles really low when cold, around 200 rpm, and will usually stall if I don't give it a little gas. Braking is fun, let me tell you. Once the engine warms up, the idle will stay around 1k - 1.5k. This is probably something stupid that I'm overlooking. Just did a tune-up on it, only things I didn't replace were the fuel filter and pcv. The hesitation is really noticeable when cold, I try to accelerate, and it lags and hesitates until around 2.5k rpm. Not so bad when the engine is warm, though. Any help would be appreciated.

We have a 87 non-turbo Z that was experiencing very similar problems. We took it to a shop who put a new mass airflow sensor on it, and it has run like a champ ever since. We also took a lot of the same steps to make it run better too, but overall that mass airflow sensor was the key.
