Key fob locks/unlocks both doors just fine. Horn chirps one chirp when car is locked, two chirps means car is now unlocked. If there is a door open when using the fob to lock the doors, a constant beep will sound, signalling the door needs to be shut before the lock will activate. The fob also opens the trunk. I've tried everything, short of breaking into my car to see if the alarm would go off and nothing happens. I have broken into my trunk, also no sounds or lights went off. When I press the panic button on the fob the horn beep, beep, beeps, until I press it again, but no lights flash. So I know the alarm makes sound. Key fob opens all doors fine and knows when a door is open. So why no alarm when the doors are opened without fob or are messed with or anything? How do I know the alarm actually works?

Hello,

Car alarms are intelligent and run through a protocol, to test the alarm roll down one window and lock the car and walk away for one hour, then do not bring the keys and try to open the locked door, then reach inside and open the door the alarm should go off. Let me know what happens.
