I was driving and the engine stalled as I drove. I restarted the engine and started moving again, but this time the AC quit working. It is blowing hot air. I looked at the compressor clutch, it engages compressor when the AC is turned on, but the system blows hot air. Also, the rpm does not go down when AC is turned on.
The AC system is charged, meaning it did not lose pressure.

Sounds like an electrical problem. Is this a manual AC system or an automatic one? Both can set codes when they have problems but you need a proper scan tool to read them. It may be the blend/air mix door actuator or it could be the controller. If it has a code it could help point the way.

If it is the mix door you drop the trim panel under the steering wheel, then remove the floor duct and the actuator is on the side of the HVAC case. You should see it move when you change the temperature control.
