The warning lights means the computer detected an electrical problem, turned the system off, set a diagnostic fault code, and turned the lights on to tell you. The place to start is by having the diagnostic fault codes read and recorded. Those will indicate the circuit that needs further diagnosis. You will not fix anything by removing the fuses or disconnecting the battery. All that will do is potentially erase the fault codes. If this is an intermittent problem, you'll lose that valuable information if you erase the codes before they're read.
