I had a 1996 Acura RL with 150,000. The maintenance required light is lit up I had it checked out by rep dealer I'd know what the problem is and at this time choose not to fix it for financial reasons and will do so later. But in the meantime I wish to turn the light off I know how to turn off the check engine light but cannot find the fuse or do not know the code to turn off the maintenance required light how can I do this

Two seperate lights. Maintenance light goes off about every 10k miles. Reset is in the owners manual. Usually key off and holf the reset on the trip odometer and turn the switch to the on position and hold for about 10 seconds. It should go off. The check engine light is different and it is turned off by a diagnostic tool or by pulling main fuse. But I would want to know what the code is myself. I suspect your looking at a cat or O2 replacement.
